Olmeta di Capicorsu
the typical marina of Negru with its Genovese tower, its typical fisherman's houses with slate rooftops, its bridge with two arches spanning the river and the cliff bordering the beach, lines the foot of the valley where the 5 hamlets of the commune are nestled
The village site has been occupied since prehistoric times. In fact, cave paintings dating from the 2nd millennium BC have been recorded in the Grotta Scritta. The Saint Césaire church and three Romanesque chapels dot the superb path that leads to Monte Stellu, the highest peak of Cape Corsica.
