Natalia Palmas
Hello, I’m Natalia. I’m 30 years old and a mum of three. I live in Ajaccio and work freelance, creating fashion and home décor accessories made from wool and similar materials. I also host a segment on the programme *Via Nova* on *Via Stella*: «La Corse a du talent», which aims to showcase the expertise of our island’s designers, craftspeople and talented individuals. I’m passionate about supporting local craftsmanship; I know the hard work, energy and time it takes. That’s why I’m delighted to be taking part in the Creazione event! I’m looking forward to meeting these designers and having the opportunity to showcase their work through my Instagram account.
Romane Piotrowski
An international model originally from Calvi, Romane has made a name for herself and modelled for the biggest fashion houses, campaigns and magazines in the fashion world. From *Vogue Italia* to campaigns for Off-White and Fendi, she has worked with the world’s leading fashion photographers as well as with brands from the island. A graduate of a Parisian fashion school, the model has always been at the heart of a creative scene. Her personality and flourishing career have earned her international recognition, notably leading to work with major R&B and American stars as a stylist in Los Angeles, Toronto and New York. At just 24 years old, this free spirit of style is shaping her vision through her encounters and artistic collaborations within the industry. Deeply attached to Corsica, her native land, she draws her inspiration from there, the result of a rich cultural heritage and a strong connection to her roots.

Richard Deiss
Richard Deiss, a model for over 10 years. I left the south of France when I was 18. I’ve been able to work as a model across much of the world,across all five continents, working in haute couture – such as walking the catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana in a luxury hotel in Milan – as well as commercial work and magazine covers in the USA and Australia, a TV film in the south of France, and a Diesel ‘Overdose’ fragrance advert which was shown in cinemas and on TV. You can currently see me modelling for Carrera at Optique 2000 in Bastia, and I’m involved in several major projects in the Netherlands for Dutch beauty and clothing brands.
Lucille Lorand
Lucille, an influencer from Bastia with nearly 50,000 followers, uses her social media reach to showcase the talents of our island. It is, in fact, this desire to shine a spotlight on the island’s creative scene that led her to launch the Figura Box, a quarterly subscription box featuring Corsican designers. Having been involved since the very first edition of the Creazione festival, this year Lucille will be sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses and updates on the festival’s proceedings via social media, so she can share her experiences and discoveries with her community.
Vincent Garson
«2020… the turning point.
This «Reboot» installation was initially a «Couture D’urgence» collection – «made in a hurry» – which was showcased on the Place de la Bastille in Paris, in defiance of the lockdown restrictions.
Based on the reality that we will no longer live in the same world – and clearly not for a long time to come.
Globalisation has led to collapses on every front:
health, the economy, community life, the environment, security…
«Reboot” is the result of these difficulties, these obstacles, this break in history.
Unable to access shops, craftspeople or suppliers in general, my artistic approach took on an unambiguous meaning: to create a collection using my stock of leathers, salvaged fabrics and mismatched accessories, whilst maintaining a standard of craftsmanship worthy of a haute couture atelier. Given the shortage of materials, makeshift techniques, simplifications and unconventional uses became the guiding thread of the project. Thus, the ‘Emergency Couture’ collection took shape during the first lockdown, centred around a ‘Tribe’ which itself embodies the symbols, needs and talents necessary for humanity’s new adaptation. A parable of the group, somewhere between a Mad Max-meets-Star Wars world and timeless craftsmanship, 13 characters emerged:
- The Mage, for the group’s philosophy; ;
- The Druid, for their expertise in healing; ;
- The Script, for expressing our thoughts through graffiti; ;
- The Poet, so that we may continue to dream; ;
- The Gatherer, for the preservation of plant species; ;
- The Fisherman, for the group’s survival; ;
- *La Patiente*, for hope and time; ;
- Two Black Guards, to safeguard knowledge;
- The Red Guard, for passion;
- The Newlyweds, for the hope of the species;
And finally... Death, which defines the boundaries of “I”.
Donna Fatta
As a young mum from Balanine with nearly 16,000 followers, I’ve been sharing my daily life and my favourite things with them sincerely for several years now. And when I talk about my favourites, I very often refer to the countless examples of island craftsmanship inspired by our landscapes, our scents and the many facets that Corsica has to offer. Having attended Creazione since its very first edition, I’ve met passionate designers and craftspeople who are deeply attached to the island that inspires them so much. It is with great pride and gratitude that I am this year one of the ambassadors for this event, which has become an unmissable fixture on the calendar.
Ines Bensalah
For me, Creazione is an unmissable, high-quality festival that serves as a dazzling showcase for «Made in Corsica» on the international stage. Being an ambassador for this year’s festival means the world to me. Corsica is my home island, and my very first source of inspiration, exploration, memories and personal growth. The Creazione festival helps to promote Corsica’s image beyond our borders and showcases Corsican craftsmanship and creativity. The beauty of our island has a thousand and one facets and serves as an exceptional showcase for all local creators and sources of inspiration around the world! The Tourist Board does a remarkable job at every edition by innovating and showcasing exceptional local creators alongside renowned guests! I am very proud to be part of this year’s event on my home island and to witness the evolution and flourishing of ‘Made in Corsica’, for which Creazione provides the driving force!
La Dolce Vita in Corsica
«Discovering and sharing – that’s what Instagram meant to me when I first embarked on this adventure. Through my gradual journey on social media, I’ve been able to find my own voice and establish a «Corsican» style and way of life based on authenticity, sharing, and the art of living on an island. I love exploring the beautiful spots in my town – in this case, showcasing them through my «fashion» photos and playing with my surroundings. I also love discovering other places and the very best they have to offer, such as local craftsmanship. Creazione will therefore enable my community to discover our local businesses, designers and talents.»
