The Quality Tourism mark

The Bastia Intercommunal Tourist Office is actively involved in the process of obtaining the «Destination d'Excellence» (DEX) label, the successor to the Qualité Tourisme label. This new, even more demanding distinction recognises organisations that are committed to a process of continuous improvement, are part of a strong and structured CSR approach, and are fully invested in the excellence of the welcome and services offered to visitors.

For several months now, the Tourist Office has been mobilising its teams around this transition, with the aim of obtaining the label by the end of the year. This commitment demonstrates our determination to maintain a high level of quality, in line with the new expectations of our customers.

Once it has been awarded the «Destination of Excellence» label, the Tourist Office will be in a position to provide support to local professionals who wish to join the scheme. It will offer methodological support, personalised advice and appropriate follow-up to help them obtain the label and to collectively promote the excellence of the local tourism offering.
